Pradas Successors SL celebrated five decades at the service of its clients last year 2017, an anniversary that they took advantage of to give an important boost to their corporate image. Luis Miguel Pradas Gómez is the Administrator and responsible for machinery sales of this company, and in these lines he reveals to us a little better the work they do.
QUESTION: For anyone who doesn't know you, what is Pradas Sucesores and what does it do?
ANSWER: “We are a company located in Almansa (Albacete) in the southeast of La Mancha, one of the most important areas in Spain for the manufacture of high-quality footwear. Since 1967, at Pradas Sucesores we have been at the service of the footwear industry, therefore having more than 50 years of professional experience, offering our customers the best machinery on the market, all kinds of spare parts for them, and we have a large quantity of consumables in permanent stock of a great quality – price. On the other hand, we are a recognized company specializing in machinery for the production of "GoodYear Welt", for which we provide a global service of advice, training, sale, maintenance, repair and reconstruction. We have a specific department capable of offering any solution for the manufacture of "goodyear welted" footwear.
Q.: In which countries is your company present?
R .: "Approximately 15% of total annual sales are destined for export worldwide, seeing this percentage increase year after year thanks to our extensive professional career and our desire to satisfy the demand of clients that place us as leaders. in the sector".

Q.: You work in a sector in which it is important to innovate and seek continuous improvement. Have you made recent investments in this regard?
R .: “In these changing times, we do not stop adapting our manufacturing and sales to the demand of our customers, even manufacturing exclusive machinery on demand to satisfy their manufacturing needs. By way of example, we have launched the Goodyear ironing machine and the Nordic fence return machine, unique in the market”.
Q.: We imagine that 2017 has been a special year for you as you celebrate your 50th Anniversary.
R .: "Recently at Pradas Sucesores we commemorated our 50th anniversary at the service of the footwear industry, an event that we wanted to celebrate by undertaking different actions in advertising and marketing, making ourselves known on social networks (Facebook), making a corporate video in Spanish and English, changing the corporate logo, as well as different commemorative celebrations with clients and employees. Certainly 2017 has been a very special and important year for the company".
Q.: What do you think could be the reason for your company's success to remain competitive in the market?
R .: "During these 5 decades in the footwear manufacturing market, we have offered a complete range of products and a careful service to our customers, providing the best, highly qualified technical service, combining speed, quality and the maximum guarantee to obtain the maximum performance in customer production.
