ADIEX continues with the Technical Direction of the III Cycle of Innovation and Internationalization

Financial entities such as BBVA, Globalcaja, Liberbank and CaixaBank once again commit to the Confederation in their commitment to business action abroad

The Confederation of Employers of Albacete, FEDA, through its International Area, has launched today the III Cycle of Seminars on Innovation and Internationalization 2018, the first in Castilla-La Mancha with this approach, and in line with regional and European policies on access to financing.

This Cycle continues to bet on a business model in which the concepts of internationalization and innovation become an indissoluble and strategic pairing. It seeks to be the ideal complement to a business internationalization policy: Reach the right destination with a competitive product/service and financing for its sale.

This year the Cycle opens, on the 23rd of this month of February, with a “laboratory”, by Jimmy Pons, in which the participants will be introduced to how to innovate in SMEs in a realistic way and that after the laboratory they can put into practice an innovation roadmap for their company in a simple and practical way.

The objective of the Business Confederation and node of the Enterprise Europe Network is to continue in this line of work that is satisfactory and well valued by freelancers and SMEs.

The contribution through the business experience of the Association of Importers and Exporters of Albacete, ADIEX, and the unconditional support of the collaborating entities (BBVA, Globalcaja, Liberbank and CaixaBank) allows FEDA to continue being pioneers in this type of event, with the collaboration, likewise, of CECAM and IPEX.

The Cycle has been presented by the president of FEDA, Artemio Perez Alfaro, accompanied by Iván Torres, president of ADIEX, and the representatives of the financial institutions that collaborate with the Confederation in this ambitious internationalization program for exporting companies and the self-employed, as well as for entrepreneurs, future businessmen who want to work in foreign trade.

Improvement and support in internationalization processes

Training is the fundamental pillar to continue pushing and helping companies in their processes before the foreign market, understanding that the management of innovation and financing is essential in this process.

The president of FEDA has pointed out that “experience shows us that training and advice are the key. Already in 1987 we were one of the more than 250 Euro Info Centers in Europe; In 2008 FEDA became part of the Enterprise Europe Network, the Business Support network dependent on the European Commission. And now the European Commission has renewed its confidence in FEDA, with a new agreement until 2020 as the only member of this network in Albacete”.

Artemio Pérez thanked the collaborators for their confidence in all these years, "because thanks to you we had a Foreign Trade cycle for 5 years, between the period 2011-2015, where we registered 1.083 participants between companies and individuals, and the surveys placed us with an average of 8.5/10 both in structure and format (technicians, country, destination, etc.)”.

After these five years of cycles focused on foreign trade, in 2016 FEDA took a leap towards innovation and this year another one towards investment and financing, always focused on improving and supporting internationalization processes.

In 2017, a total of 300 companies and individuals participating in the different programs of the cycle were registered, and the surveys yielded an average of 9,02/10 in content, organization and speakers.

The 2018 Cycle maintains its eminently practical approach, focused on the main topics of interest to exporters, which are also a response to requests from businessmen and participants: innovation, participation in international fairs, financing and investment, marketing and the Spain brand, imports , LEAN and customized internationalization plans.

Strategy and management tools

From FEDA and ADIEX, we continue to try to offer solutions to technical and informational issues to the associated companies, and it is fortunate to have collaborators who are committed to it. The business world is experiencing a moment of constant transformation in which strategy and management tools are essential before undertaking international projects.

For his part, the president of ADIEX, Iván Torres, has called on the export and import companies of Albacete and the province to join forces under the umbrella of FEDA and the Association, "because the future of our province lies in exports and all together we will be stronger", while highlighting "the work that we develop at ADIEX, with an open website and multiple service options in terms of international cooperation, information, international events, etc. www.adiex.es".

"Every day -said the president of ADIEX- we reinvent ourselves hand in hand with FEDA, we learn and try to make it easier for companies to get involved in innovation and internationalization projects".

Lastly, the representatives of the collaborating entities have valued this type of program, thanking FEDA and ADIEX for one more edition counting on them in this Cycle, convinced that it is a unique tool in the region to promote the internationalization of companies, especially SMEs and the self-employed. At the same time, they have highlighted the services that each of the entities put in the hands of SMEs for business development in foreign trade.

The final point of the presentation was given by the director of IPEX, Fernando Laviña, who also congratulated FEDA and ADIEX for this programming, “which shows that there are solutions and tools for companies and their foreign action. Financial entities and a cohesive business organization to put these tools at the service of companies. They are financial entities with a multitude of possibilities”.
