“We are developing a project that we hope to be able to launch at the beginning of 2018”

At Bodegas Winol they work with clients from all over the world in order to increase the knowledge that those countries have about the wines of our country, mainly from all the denominations of origin of Castilla-La Mancha. Despite being a young company, it has clients on various continents.

Gema Delgado de la Casa is CEO Export & Financial at Winol Cellars. In the following lines, he describes the company he represents a little more.

QUESTION: For anyone who doesn't know you, what is Bodegas Winol and what does it do?

ANSWER: “Bodegas Winol is a second degree structure created at the end of 2013, exclusive representative and distributor of several wineries in the Community of Castilla-La Mancha, our partners. We take care of the process of linking with customers around the world in order to increase knowledge of the wines of our region”.

Q.: In which countries is your company present?

R .: “We are present in very diverse countries: China, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, the United States, the Czech Republic, Germany or the Netherlands”.

Q.: Is it important to innovate and seek continuous improvement in your sector? Have you made recent investments in this regard? 

R .: “Without a doubt, both in our sector and in any other, innovation and continuous improvement must be an integral part of the company's philosophy. What's more, it is something that the market is constantly demanding, especially in a sector as competitive as the wine industry. We are precisely at this moment developing a project with a new image and a brand of wines with history that we hope to be able to launch at the beginning of 2018”.

Q.: What do you think could be the reason for your company's success to remain competitive in the market?

R .: “Professionalism, quality of service, active listening, perseverance, growing alongside and with the client for the development of long-term collaborative projects. Although it sounds cliché, the win-win philosophy always works. All this supported with products that adapt to the markets”.

Q.: You belong to the Association of Importers and Exporters of Albacete, ADIEX. How do you see the work carried out by the association?

R .: “To date we are satisfied, mainly with the information received from ADIEX. The databases we have received are very valuable to us”.
