At ABR we innovate "according to the responses of our market"

Since 1975 Alba-Rulo, SL (ABR) It does not stop evolving to become the most dynamic, efficient and updated supplier in the market in which they work: painter's tools. An evolution that allows it to have more than 2.500 active clients, 3.000.000 units produced and more than 1.500 references in its catalogue. Located in the neighboring town of Chinchilla de Montearagón, ABR is present in numerous countries.

Yolanda Ramiro, head of Marketing, tells us in these lines the work that her company has been doing in recent years.

QUESTION: For anyone who doesn't know you, what is ABR and what does it do?
ANSWER: "We are a family business already in our third generation. At ABR we are dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of high-quality products for DIY, handicrafts, painting and high-end decoration. In other words, we have a wide range of painter's tools: rollers and spare parts, palettes and brushes, brushes and all kinds of accessories.".

Q.: In which countries is your company present?
R .: “At ABR we have our own Export Department. In Europe, we are present in countries such as Portugal, Italy and France. But our presence goes much further and we have points of sale in Morocco, Algeria, Senegal, Libya, Iraq and Tunisia".

Q.: You work in a sector in which it is important to innovate and seek continuous improvement. Have you made recent investments in this regard?
R .: “Yes, we have made investments, especially this year, as we are focusing on renewing our brand image. At the same time that our company evolves, so does our image, thus ABR, formerly Alba-Rulo, was born. It is a nod to the future of a business project that has more than 40 years of dedication and dedication to our clients. In addition, we are in the process of renewing our website, which will soon be fully operational”.

Q.: What do you think could be the reason for your company's success to remain competitive in the market?
R .: "The reason for ABR's success may be innovation based on the responses of our market, maintaining the same organization and structure as before, but adding more products to our offer, all to maintain complete customer satisfaction".

Q.: You belong to the Association of Importers and Exporters of Albacete, ADIEX. How do you see the work carried out by the association?
R .: "We have been within ADIEX for a relatively short time and, up to now, we believe that the work that is being carried out by the association is good, trying to give greater visibility to companies from Albacete that are dedicated to importing or exporting".

P .: ADIEX is organizing activities such as exporters' breakfasts for exporters or the III Cycle of Seminars on Innovation and Internationalization. What do you think of these activities? Does anyone from your company participate in them?
R .: “It is always good to organize these types of activities in which we can share information or experiences with other exporting businessmen. It is a good idea and we have already attended some of these activities”.

Q.: What aspects do you think should be improved or strengthened from ADIEX?
R .: “We want the activities that are being developed to continue, because as we have already said, they are a good initiative. Anything that involves working for a greater relevance of exports in our province is welcome".
