The European Commission prepares a document for companies to prepare for the definitive exit of the United Kingdom from the EU.
From the Association of Importers and Exporters of Albacete (ADIEX) we collect the Guide for companies 'Brexit: How to prepare for the end of the transition period', prepared by the European Commission with the aim of helping all companies that, in one way or another, work in the United Kingdom.
On January 31, 2020, the United Kingdom ceased to be a Member State of the European Union, although it is true that it has a withdrawal agreement that provides for a transitional period until December 31 of this year.
But what will happen next? Once January 1, 2021 arrives, there will be important changes in tax and customs matters, so this Guide is more necessary than ever.
