FEDA has coordinated the promotion and presence of sixteen agri-food companies from Castilla-La Mancha at the ANUGA Fair in Colonia

These international actions are developed thanks to the agreement established between the Institute for Foreign Promotion of Castilla-La Mancha-IPEX and the Regional Confederation of Businessmen of Castilla-La Mancha, CECAM.

The International Area of ​​FEDA, within the framework of the Enterprise Europe Network project of which it has been an active part since 2008, has co-organized B2B with international companies.

The Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Albacete- FEDA, as node of the Enterprise Europe Network, has coordinated the visit to ANUGA Fair, which took place from October 7 to 11 in Cologne, Germany. ANUGA is the largest food and beverage fair in the world that has attracted more than 170.000 inhabitants from 192 countries, covering all market segments of the sector and presenting the most important innovations, as well as current and future trends.

Sixteen companies from the five provinces of the region have participated in this action in order to establish new international business contacts and learn first-hand about new international trends in the agri-food industry and its auxiliary industries.

As an added value, the FEDA International Area, within the framework of the project of the Enterprise Europe Network of which it has been an active part since 2008, has co-organized B2B with international companies together with the nodes of the Enterprise Europe Network Greece, held at the fair itself on October 8, 9 and 10 and which has allowed 153 companies from 15 different countries to participate and more than 140 international meetings to be held.

In addition to these business meetings in brokerage event format, FEDA has collaborated with its counterparts from the Enterprise Europe Network in Germany, the organizations Zenit Zentrum for Innovation and Technik in Nordrhein-Westfalen Gmbh y NBank, disseminating the profiles of the Spanish companies attending the fair to achieve a greater scope of the action; as well as through the organization of the Enterprise Europe Network in Türkiye, KOSGEB Balıkesir, to generate new business opportunities with Turkish companies.

Companies have reported very positive feedback on this action, pointing out a greater influx, even higher than the pre-pandemic years and with a greater number of buyers from Latin American and Asian countries, which they believe will be something very positive for open new markets.

The execution of this action has had the technical support of the International Area of the Confederation of Employers of Albacete, FEDA-CEOE-CEPYME-ALBACETE and the collaboration of his Enterprise Europe Network, as well as the co-organization of its counterparts in the region: Business Federation of Ciudad Real, FEED; Confederation of Businessmen of Cuenca, CEOE-CEPYME-CUENCA; Provincial Confederation of Businessmen of Guadalajara, CEOE-CEPYME-GUADALAJARA and Toledo Business Federation FEDETO-CEOE-CEPYME-TOLEDO.
