The furniture, textile and fashion, meat and wine sectors have made an important recognition of opportunities in the Dutch market
One more year, the technical team of the international area of the Albacete Employers Confederation, FEDA, has accompanied and supported companies in Castilla-La Mancha in a commercial mission, in this case to the Netherlands, organized within the framework of the collaboration agreement between the Foreign Promotion Institute, IPEX and Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Castilla-La Mancha (CECAM) together with their business organizations, FEDA, the Business Federation of Ciudad Real, FEED; Confederation of Businessmen of Cuenca, CEOE-CEPYME-CUENCA; Provincial Confederation of Businessmen of Guadalajara, CEOE-CEPYME-GUADALAJARA and Toledo Business Federation FEDETO-CEOE-CEPYME-TOLEDO.
In this mission that has just closed, seven companies from the five provinces of Castilla-La Mancha from different sectors have participated, including: furniture, textiles and fashion, meat and wine. Rotterdam has been the chosen destination to hold meetings with importers and distributors, and visit large distribution chains, as well as learn about the market, the culture and, of course, do business.
IPEX, CECAM, FEDA and its partner the Enterprise Europe Network in the Netherlands, have carried out important work both at the level of prior analysis and market information seminars, trip organization, call and coordination with the Dutch consulting firm, as well as support for companies at the destination.
The Dutch market is a market extremely open to international trade, so it is very demanding but interesting for companies in the region, in which an excellent quality/price ratio of products is demanded.
More than thirty meetings held, interesting perspectives and positive initial feedback from the participating companies mean that this commercial mission has fulfilled its objective. Now there is monitoring by the exporting companies in the region in order to close trade agreements. The organizing entities carry out a subsequent assessment of this commercial action and monitor the opportunities that have become truly effective, as part of an analysis and process of constant improvement.
With this action, a notable promotion of Castilla-La Mancha has been carried out as a region that promotes foreign trade, as well as the export capacity of its companies.
