Third seminar of the Cycle of Innovation and Internationalization 2018, on management and financing of innovative projects

We break down the virtuous circle of projects for SMEs: idea, financing, team and investment profile

The adequate preparation of the proposals prepared by a company for the search for financing can be key in obtaining financial resources. the seminar of Management and Financing of Innovative Projects, developed in FEDA and Enterprise Europe Network It has been the 3rd session, of the III Cycle of Innovation and Internationalization 2018, and the score of the participants has been 8,85 out of 10.

The seminar was conducted by Francisco Martinez  consultant, teacher and coach. He participates in Business and Market Development, Innovation, Change Management and Organizational Improvement projects, and David Sánchez, financial consultant, purchasing and stock management. He collaborates in the development and execution of business improvement projects within the financial and purchasing fields, through the management, coordination and organization of both areas. The two are part of the technical direction of the FEDA Innovation AreaFEDA Investment support.

Within the seminar, a comparative decalogue was presented between public and/or private financing and subsidies, with practical and real examples, to determine what type of financing is appropriate for each project.

El FEDA International Area presented the Enterprise Europe Network and the service of Diagnosis of Innovation Management Improvement, available for companies associated with the Confederation, and a first step to measure the situation of the company in terms of resources, structure, processes and people.

According to the opinion of the attendees, including some companies that have been successful cases of the Confederation's services, they commented that the seminar fulfilled the main objective, which was for the company to learn the tools to define an optimal project management process. : idea, financing, team and investment profile. 

Programs for internationalization

As a novelty, programs such as FIEM, Fund for the Internationalization of Companies, which is not very well known and is quite interesting for companies that want to establish themselves abroad, and the INNTERCONECTA program, which supports projects linked to challenges of the society and the priorities of the Smart Growth Operational Program. Non-refundable aid. SMEs 60%, medium-sized companies 50% and large companies 40% of the investment.

All this thanks to the collaboration of BBVA and the Technical Department of the Association of Importers and Exporters of Albacete, ADIEX. Samuel García Eslava, director of Banking for Companies and Corporations at BBVA presented the factoring, forfaiting and conforming lines of the financial institution.

At FEDA, consultancy is always coordinated with technicians from the Department of Associations and Technical Areas, and with project promoters and technology-based companies that have real experience in SMEs, multinationals, and the public sector, such as Capacita.
