National Wine Fair: FENAVIN

The United States is already the largest consumer of wine in the world and also occupies the top position as the largest importer. The North American market has become the most desired by producing countries, and Spain is no exception. In 2014, Spanish wine ranked sixth in the ranking of imports from the United States. Italy, Australia, Chile, France and Argentina, in this order, were ahead of Spain in the list of wine importing countries in the US market.

Among professionals in the sector in the United States, Spanish wines are perceived as quality wines, although the average American consumer still considers that French, Italian and Californian wines are superior in quality to Spanish ones. One of the challenges for the coming years will therefore be to convince the average North American consumer that Spanish wine can compete in quality with its French, Italian or Californian references.

In line with this objective, our Association of Wine Entrepreneurs of Albacete, integrated into FEDA, through the National Federation of Wines, Spirits and Musts of Castilla-La Mancha, FEVIN, invites you to participate in the Selling Wine in the United States conference , which will take place within the National Wine Fair, FENAVIN, on May 13 at 10:00 a.m., room 4, in order to participate you must be accredited as a visitor to the Fair.
