Pablo Vergel encourages us to rethink English "in a more intuitive way"

Pablo Vergel was in charge of giving the new English coaching workshop Reset!Organized by the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Albacete FEDA, and which had the technical direction of the Association of Importers and Exporters of Albacete, ADIEX, and the collaboration of Liberbank.

Throughout the day, Pablo Vergel offered students a new way of understanding English, through a methodology based on Neurolinguistic Programming, focused more on intuition and own resources than memorization and grammar.

This first edition can be classified as successful, since the average evaluation of the participating students, in the subsequent survey, was 9 out of 4. We spoke briefly with Pablo Vergel to find out his impressions of the Reset! English coaching workshop.

-How do you describe your experience in this first edition of Reset! in Albacete?

-“Very positive. Actually until now I had always raised this Reset! within a context of specific English training for, for example, customer service teams that have to serve customers in English with a low command of the language. But this was the first time that we developed these contents in an exclusive way and not associated with longer and regular workshops where scenarios, role-playing games, etc. are practiced... It is strange to propose training to practice English where it is not really especially uses the language, but as we have seen, what is being considered here is something else, which then has much more to do with what the students are going to put into practice in their professional, daily life, etc…”.

-The objective was to 'reset' the thinking of the students. How is that achieved?

-“Well, what we really try is for people to make a realistic analysis of why they find themselves in a situation of certain blockage regarding the language, without any kind of drama and identifying which attitudes and habits help us and which do not. In my experience as a trainer, I have come across similar profiles many times and in the end you end up defining a certain common pattern that we try to demonstrate in the course. When people become aware of this, they are already taking another perspective on how it relates to English. There is already a reset ”.

- Are you ready for the next edition?

-"Of course, although one is always thinking about what things can be improved and they always try to incorporate new dynamics or content".

-What message do you send people to encourage them to participate in the second edition in November?

-”I would like to invite anyone who has invested a lot of time in learning English but finds themselves in a situation where they feel they are unable to move forward or communicate to participate, to propose and invite them to rethink this language together in a much more intuitive and practical. Learning English in another way is possible”.

The second edition of Reset! It will be held on Thursday, November 30, under the same parameters as this first session. There will be 12 places available, exclusively for FEDA members. Are you going to miss it?
