FEDA HAS STARTED A PROJECT TO RAISE AWARENESS IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Within the framework of the European Energy Week, a seminar was held from the Enterprise Europe Network of FEDA to inform about the news and the future that is presented in terms of energy efficiency, taking into account the goals 20-20-20, consisting of reducing the consumption of primary energy in the European Union by 20%; reduce greenhouse gas emissions by another 20%; and raise the contribution of renewable energies to 20% of consumption by the year 2020.

The seminar was attended by experts in the field and the presence of Alfonso Vázquez Varela de Seijas, Director General of Industry, Energy and Mines, who reported first-hand the lines of help for energy efficiency and the way the Government proceeds region in this sense.
More than 80 people participated in the seminar, who had the opportunity to exchange doubts regarding legal and technical compliance, and the overall evaluation of the day was very positive.

energy cost

More than 43% of the total existing homes in Spain are between 25 and 50 years old. This fact implies that due to the materials and construction systems that were used at the time of its construction, they cause a high energy cost and, consequently, significant damage to the environment.

In conclusion, in Spain:

  • We have a park of buildings with a high level of NO Energy Efficiency.
  • We have no new construction and no prospects for years to come.
  • We have the obligation to have sustainable and efficient buildings.

The goal is to find energy solutions that, on the one hand, provide greater comfort and, on the other, help keep the energy consumption of the building to a minimum.
The aim of this regulation is to improve the building's energy savings by taking care of its energy losses and acting on the efficiency of energy equipment, as well as promoting the use of renewable energy to reduce energy impact.
FEDA, the Chamber of Commerce of Toledo and the OTRI of the University of Castilla-La Mancha feel satisfied as organizers of this event, with the result, and thank Efinnova, Aguahorro and the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha for their collaboration. . There is awareness that it is a subject that must continue to inform businessmen and citizens.
