Success of the first edition of Reset!, the practical English workshop with ADIEX technical management companies

With the technical direction of the Association of Importers and Exporters of Albacete, ADIEX, and thanks to the trust and collaboration of Liberbank

English is one of the most widespread formative concerns among professionals and adults. There is a great demand to learn English covered by a traditional training offer. However, despite all this deployment of resources, something is not working since many of these people continue without showing training in the language and continue without using it on a regular or much less professional basis.

The workshop has been founded by banishing tools that have been shown not to work. People are being taught something that they already know (if we think about the number of hours that most people have dedicated to English is very high), but that for various reasons most people have blocked and continue to get stuck in understanding the language. language as a theoretical knowledge and not as something experiential.

That is exactly what you have proposed the first edition of RESET! Based on the principles of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), although the objective was ambitious, the workshop organized at FEDA has achieved reset the participants from 12 companies associated with FEDA (the capacity is limited by the methodology itself) so that they would change their way of thinking about communicating in English, they would unblock themselves and start using English and the knowledge they already have, integrating it into their daily life. The business sectors and profiles were very varied: agri-food, metal, wine, canned vegetables, commercials, financial consultants, environment and quality, engineers, comedians, etc.

Another way to understand and practice English (This is something else)

The eight-hour workshop that has been organized at FEDA, thanks to the collaboration of Liberbank and the technical direction of ADIEX, had Pablo Vergel, a trainer who in a practical and intuitive way showed students how they should relate to English through different activities and dynamics, while establishing a roadmap to develop on a daily basis and which is the true essence of the course .

What happens in the classroom is important and surprises the participants, but the objectives that are set, the follow-up and personalized coaching and the joint evaluation of the results that is carried out 10 weeks later is something that the participants have valued very positively. , the total average evaluation of the workshop has been 9,4/10.

The second edition is already prepared and will be on November 30. will also be in charge of Pablo Vergel, strategic consultant and trainer at The Morter Company. He has lived and worked in Switzerland, Tunisia, Indonesia, the United States and, of course, in Spain where for years he has held commercial management and advisory roles in companies such as Alhambra, Mustang, Lois Jeans, Desigual, Energy System or Seur. In recent years he has specialized in teaching English through a new methodology based on NLP and focused more on intuition and one's own resources, than on memorization and grammar.

This experience, through this type of training, has helped the Confederation to consider organizing more training of this type during 2018, awakening skills to manage the impact of misunderstandings, since in panic zones you do not learn, and always proposing a balance between the challenge and learning, but above all understanding English as a means and not as an end in itself.
