The Confederation of Employers of Albacete, FEDA next to Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and Toledo Chamber of Commerce, as a partner of the Enterprise Europe Network have participated in Vienna in the XI Annual Conference of this Business Support Network, a project that reports directly to the European Commission.
The meeting was held coinciding with the Austrian presidency of the European Union and this year has focused on improving the competitiveness of European SMEs from 2020, addressing, among other issues, support for companies to gain dimension in the context European Union, the promotion of innovation in SMEs post-2020, how to maximize the potential of the internal market and digital platforms for internationalization.
All are issues that FEDA maintains as a priority from its areas of innovation, international and investment support.
La Enterprise Europe Network is the largest European business and technological support network at the service of companies with a multitude of contact points that provide information and help to European SMEs, promotes business cooperation and technology transfer. Nearly 600 entities from more than 60 countries are part of it, of which three organizations are located in Castilla-La Mancha.
This translates into being able to make available to companies the opportunities that direct and permanent contact with organizations specializing in business strategy and innovation in all European and third countries, as well as with the institutions of the European Union, entails.
The meeting in Vienna, with more than 800 partners of the A present, was inaugurated by the Austrian Minister for Digital and Economic Affairs, Margarete Schramböck, together with Lowri Evans, Director General for Industry, Internal Market and SMEs of the European Commission.
