In his first edition, RESET has already caused a significant impact on the business partners of FEDA who participated; This second group has been different and their concerns regarding their relationship with English are also different. Which proves two scenarios in which the average fabric of Albacete businessmen is usually found: “I speak it but I don't understand it”, “I understand it but I don't speak it”.
This workshop is not an English course or a magical formula, it simply seeks the participant to banish tools that have been shown not to work. People who study English are being taught something that they already know (if we consider the number of hours that most of them have dedicated to English is very high), but that for various reasons most people have blocked and continue to be stuck in understanding the language. language as a theoretical knowledge and not as something experiential.
The workshop organized at FEDA has achieved “reset” a second group of participants from associated companies (the capacity is limited by the methodology itself). The business sectors and profiles were very varied: agri-food, cutlery, commercial intermediaries, travel agencies, architects, design and new technologies.
It is not an English course
The eight-hour workshop that has been organized at FEDA, thanks to the collaboration of Liberbank and the technical direction of ADIEX, once again had Pablo Vergel, a trainer who in a practical way shows students how they should relate to English through different activities and dynamics, while establishing a roadmap to develop on a daily basis and which is the true essence of the course.
Managing moments of panic, giving yourself the opportunity to be wrong, not losing those scenarios that allow you to practice, but above all, understanding English as something that can be part of everyday life, no pressure. The progress with the language thanks to the use of this methodology (challenges, change of habits, etc.), if done conscientiously, has been verified and ratified by students of the first edition.
As a result of the evaluations and the experience in the classroom, FEDA will have Pablo Vergel in the innovation and internationalization cycle 2018, his experience as a strategic consultant and trainer, and the fact that he has lived in Switzerland, Tunisia, Indonesia, the United States and, of course, in Spain where for years he has held commercial management and advisory roles in companies such as Alhambra, Mustang, Lois Jeans, Desigual, Energy System or Seur will allow the Confederation to take advantage of its knowledge not only in English but also in its use within foreign trade.
